What kind of additonal charges will be added to my Verizon plan when I activate a Palm Treo (PDA) as my phone?

They said I'd have to buy some kinda 10MB data package for $29.99 or something but when I go to my plan alterations on Verzion's website it doesn't say it offers such a thing. Is this because My PDA isn't activated just yet or what? I want to know what I can and can't do with My Palm Treo 600. Can I browse the web send e-mail? how much should the service cost?
