SONY PSP questions to buy or not to...?

  • ok, i suck in technology and stuff but i found the sony psp and seems really nice...so i need help on this so i can make up my mind on buying or not... i have a mac, will it work? is it possible to upload music etc from my mac? can i transfer 700 songs from my mp3cd to the psp? can the psp hold videos, pictures music? like the ipod video? i know you can surf the net through it, is it like the one on the ipod video? logging to any website from anywhere? like if i go to starbucks and they have this wifi stuff, if i take the psp will i be able to check my emails and stuff? i know about the games and the viddeos, and the special cds it uses....thats really cool, and that i would need to upgrade the memory with the duo memory.. does it worth the money and all the upgrade stuff?

    If you do buy it, buy the game Loco Roco. I cannot stress how much you need to buy the game Loco Roco if you have a PSP.

Well psp is well worth it. yes it will work with the a mac... yes you can transpher 700 songs to your psp, of course if you have a large duo stick memory in it. yes you can get on the internet using wifi.. only draw back... no flash... no myspace... you can check your emails tho. i got my psp for a $100 from a friend including games, and a memory stick what a deal

i have xbox live i have talked to people who come in from ps3 on their friends names to play COD 4 and i always ask but they always say they are ready for xbox and they cant stand the ps3 i was close to getting the ps3 but i decided against it for a few more months im not going to be an idiot and trade though just buy it if i dont like it ill sell it and still have my xbox ~good luck

Yes its worth it. 4gig sticks are cheap..you can never have to much space. Especially if you add cfw to it..you will need the extra space. Id advise if you have the money get an 8gig..even tho there still somewhat pricey. But 4gig would work great IMO also. Yes it can hold videos, pictures, music, podcasts, internet borwser (kinda crappy)wifi, etc...its a awsome piece of machine and very reliable (not talking about dropping them)

Yeah yeah yeah, you can do all of that. And now, you can buy minutes and use the psp as a cell phone. I think it's kind of retarded though. The psp is too big to pass as a cell phone. Note: In my opinion, the PSP is a very cool item ONLY if you have custom firmware (CFW). It's well worth that you buy a pandora's battery along for your psp incase you brick it or want to install custom firmware. You'll pay anywhere from $40- $80 on www.ebay.com
