How to use Blackberry Messenger?

I have a blackberry curve 8520. I do not know how to set up my bbm. i tried to but i dont know how to add people to lists or how to use it. please help? thanks a bunch! :)

Answer:
Its easy. Go into bbm and click the "invite to bbm" option. Here you will be able to put in someones pin which can be found on their profile(you need them there to find it out or have them text it to you). Put it in and they'll be sent an invintation. Once they accept, you'll have a bbm contact. Another way is to scan their code. Same steps, its in the same option as last time. They show their code by going into their profile and clicking "show". This brings up a QR code and you use your phone to scan it through your camera.
