Some pocket PC help?

I keep installing Pocket PC software and my Pocket PC and an error comes up before installing ! Can you help?

I am installing software which I can only assume is Windows Mobile 5 and the software is not installing adding an error message of "this is not a pocket pc programme" which is it, because it came from a pocket pc site. Can you help me, I want to install some video players and am having trouble with playing all mpeg videos.

Maybe you need to install them on you PC and when you connect your pocket PC via active sync or windows mobile centre for vista the PC will install these on the pocket PC.
