How does it feel to use a Blackberry Pearl 8130?

  • I'm looking to get a new phone in March, and I've been drawn to the new Blackberry Pearl 8130. I was wondering, however, what it's like to use? I have never owned a Blackberry device/PDA/phone of any kind before; I have an LG VX8300 right now, but it's starting to give me issues. If anyone uses the Blackberry Pearl 8130 or owns it, could you tell me what you think of it? Would you recommend it?

    it sucks. the keys have two letters per key so its a pain in the *** its just like having a normal phone. but if you r fast at typing on a normal phone it still sucks becas the letters are on different keys. i recomend the black bery pearl. its prety much the same but each key has 1 letter and has more featers. if the perl is the only type blackbery you want dont wast your money. get like a good phone like the ipone or whatever just not the peral

i have the blackberry curve, it is alot like the curve. i like it better then windows mobile phones. the text message feature is easier, it looks like a instant messenger. if you get the internet plan u will love it, they give you a blackberry email, it is instant to your phone. the only problem is that msn and hotmail has problems with blackberry. you cant get it to come to your phone unless you upgrade hotmail, that mean you have to pay hotmail for the better email feature. gmail works just fine. overall it is a great phone, seem like a lot of thought went in to blackberry phones. i love my blackberry and i dont know why i havent had one before.

Yes, it's a very good phone. Why not try visiting an ATT, Sprint, verizon or Tmobile store and see the phone for yourself. Describing the phone to you won't do any good.
