Latest and most solid roumor is 25th October. The device is showing up in BestBuy's inventory as 'in stock' on that date. When the roumor first showed up online they removed the entry from their system, but then it reappeared under a different device code. So the fact that they are trying to hide it can only be a good sign :-)

OMG i'm dying in anticipation for this one too. i've been up for an upgrade since APRIL waiting for this phone. and i'm trying so hard not to throw my chocolate 2 out the window. anyways. like the other person said, the rumored best buy in stock date is oct 25. IF THIS IS TRUE, i think verizon will release it around october 20th. but just a guess--considering that best buy always gets things a couple days later than the manufacturer. example-they got the 3rd itouch about five days after it was released in the apple store :)
