I need help with TI 84 plus silver edition.

Question About TI-84 Silver Edition?

I just bought a TI-84 Silver edition from a Pawn shop and ist really realy new...no marks on it... it came with 2 cables. one is the usb and there is another one idk what :D. well i have some question so if you could help me plz. 1. I bought it for $50 was it a good prize? 2. It doesnt have the CD so do i realy have to have it or its ok that i dont...and if yes where can i get it? 3. what is the main thing i need to know or worry about in it. i mean is there anything Impo. i need to look at to see if its ok or not? 4. and if there is any worning plz let me know... thanx alot....

thats a good price, i bought mine today for 115, and the cd is just to upload more programs. u really dont need it. but i have a question. how do u put the batteries. does it just open or do you need a screw driver click on my face and email me please
