  • okay i dont have a warranty. i spilled water on my psp and i think my screen is broken, because i can barely see (have to look really hard) the screen. if i send it ti sony will they fix it? how much will they charge?! how do i send it to sony? guys im totally down so i beg of you plz help!!!!!!!!!!

  • Answer:

They will probably charge a high price if your warranty is out and they will take forever to mail it out. Quickly take out the disc insert plate from the back where you put the games in. Take out the game, using a blow dryer on a low setting, heat up the plate and lens from a safe distance to avoid damaging the lens. Then follow with the outside as well as any inner parts you can manage to dry. *This may not be the safest course of action, and supervision is highly recommended. Wait 1-2 days for the inner components to dry before attempting to turn on the PSP. Making sure the charger socket is dry plug it in to charge. Wait 2-3 hours for it to charge, then try turning it on. If it doesn't work I would advise taking it to a video game shop and seeing if they can repair it there. Good luck.

Okay first calm down: Sony wouldn't fix your PSP for free because in their warranty they don't cover stuffs like that (look at the warranty book) and if you want them to fix it they will charge $90. Go to this website it explains a lot: http://www.askdavetaylor.com/how_to_send_busted_sony_psp_sony_service.html
