Is it worth buying an expensive GPS?

Needs assistance with buying a GPS?

Hi, I need help with buying a GPS. I had the Mio P550 in the past, which was good, but was stolen. Now I'm looking for a new one, but cheaper. The P550 was also a PDA and I realize I don't need all that. All I need is a GPS that will work in most places around the world, will have voice instructions, and will allow me to insert a digital card with different maps each time (in other words, switch between maps). I'm very price sensitive. Will any GPS have these or only certain ones? Thanks.
