Why is my palm pre offline?

Palm Pixi vs Palm Pre?

• I am thinking about upgrading my Palm Treo 650 to one of the newer Palms. I like the Palm OS and the programs I have on my Palm that I would like to keep using so I would only upgrade to another Palm OS phone. I saw At&t has the Palm Pixi (free-after 2 yr agreement, etc...) and the Palm Pre ($150-after 2 yr agreement, etc...). Is their a big difference in two? A $150 difference? I don't have to upgrade if I don't have to, but I don't want to upgrade to a cheap phone. I upgraded to the Palm Centro for about a week and it wasn't as good as good as the Treos. What have others thought about Pixi vs Pre? I would like input from people who have used both (trying them out) or owned both on what they thought.

  The Pre. Its not a good phone. Its a great phone! Don't take my word. Recently the Pre won best phone by laptop magazine and its the only phone EVER to get a 5 star rating from G4Tv. Mainly the Operating System on the Pre called WebOs is amazing. HP realized this and just bought Palm for 1.2 billion. They would not do that if it wasn't any good, they feel its the best. Think about it, HP has some pretty technical people on staff and 1.2 billion is alot of money. Pros: Free software updates. The pre will never be outdated. Palm adds features and functionality every few months. Plenty of apps over 6k and growing everyday. TRUE Multitasking, the card system works great and is fun and simple to use. Great camera, Operating system WebOs is very smooth and elegant. Palm allows you to tweak your phone and customize it for your needs. Universal search is an awesome feature on the phone. just start typing on any screen and it will search your phone/internet/google/wiki for what you are typing. Its great for pulling up a contact, search for a place to go, or any information. Saves time from opening up a browser then google, it automatically does it for you. Way cool. Last pro is the Keypad. Check out PreCentral, its a user community group for the Pre.
