Why do people say Blackberry Curve Is not a good phone ?

  • Ive always wanted a Blackberry, and have finally decided to start saving for a new phone, a Blackberry, Why do people say its a bad phone ? Do you think i should get one ? My contract has internet and only 50 min and unlimited texts, and i will use it for Blackberry Messenger, So mainly for internet and Texts. Is this a good choice of phone ? Is there another good phone for these things, Thanks. Cheap-ish phone ideas thanks .

    You have been asking about the 8520 all day so I will assume you are asking about it. The 8520 is the worst BlackBerry currently available. It does not have 3G or GPS support. It only has 128 MB of device memory. If you want a Curve get the 9330. An even better choice would be the Bold 9700.

Before you buy a blackberry, check out the lineup of smartphones by Samsung. They have a variety of touch models to choose from that will suit your needs. One big plus they have over blackberrys is a larger screen size, and you will want that for internet use as well as txt. Based on previous personal experience with blackberrys, I would not reccommend them for several reasons. If there is a T-Mobile retail store in your area you can road test one of the Samsung devices to get a real feel as to what the advantages they have over a blackberry. I believe you will quite surprised in the difference. Good luck on your choice.

i had one and it broke for no reason after about a month there ok phones nothing special about them though apart from bbm...
