How do you downgrade a psp to 5.03?

I own a psp fat (or the original psp) and i have the firmware 3.72. i want to downgrade it.?

  • i want to enable firmware 3.52 M33-4 on my psp, but it says i need to downgrade it to 1.5. if its possible, i need to know how to downgrade it, but if it's not possible, how do i enable 3.52 M33-4?

    Ok, there is only one way to downgrade ur 3.72 phat psp. you need to find someone with a hacked firmware such as 3.71 m33 or etc. Then u need him to make a pandora battery or Dark Alex's other universal unbricker/downgrader. The process is not very complicated but u can find more info at http://pspupdates.qj.net/ or at qj forums. hope this helps.

you no longer need a custom firmware to make the pandora battery, you just have to hardmod it (meaning opening it up and cutting a pin.. this will then become a permanent pandora.. you will not be able to reboot a psp normally with it). http://www.eliteforums.info/forum/showthread.php?t=729 make the battery with that then find someone who has the files you need to put on the memory stick. this is a very popular question, so i decided to create a user packet for it. here are all the pictures, links, and files you need http://www.zshare.net/download/50254050b5cdc9/
