Blackberry 8520 or HTC tattoo?

Stuck between a HTC ChaCha or Blackberry Curve 8520?

• I am a 15 year old girl who is looking for a fancy unique phone, but mainly for texting friends:-) I was also comparing phones on the internet, and it has come out that the HTC is better than a blackberry. I would like the HTC because it's more unique and a lot of people have blackberrys - especially my friends..and they're the ones telling me to get a BB. What's you're opinion? I'd still say I really want a HTC but I was just wondering on you're opinion :-) Thank you

  ok the htc chacha has a terrible battery life, but being an android has the market with lots of apps, so if your into apps and dont mind short battery life then go for the chacha. the blackberry 8520 is not the best blackberry, its an entry level phone with no 3g etc. the curve 9300 3g is a very good phone for a small amount more money than the 8520, well built and reliable, excellent for fast txting and really good for social networking, ive had a 9300 for over a year with no problems at all. and the blackberry apps world is getting better all the time, some nice apps, and a good battery life, i would go for blackberry 9300 3g. but maybe a good idea for you to type in google "htc chacha unboxing video" and see it in action then do the same for the blackberry. last thing to say is, if you really have your heart set on a particular phone then buy it no matter what anyone says, or you will regret it later.
