My ipod touch wont turn on at all?

Ipod Touch wont turn on. Please Help Me!?

  • My ipod touch 2nd gen wont turn on. its jailbroken and i use rock instead of cydia. when i upgraded rock and turned my ipod off it wouldnt turn back on. when i press the power button the loading screen will come up for 5 seconds but then it will go away. so i cant connect my ipod to the computer so what should i do?

    Sheepishly head to the Apple store, admin what you did, and offer to pay whatever it takes for a Genius to fix it. You have what's known as a "brick."

Why can't you connect it to the computer it probaly needs to be charged if you have a wii or a ps3 you can charge it by that

Ok, so you know how everyone says, "Oh, if anything bad happens with jailbreaking, you can always restore." They never tell you about the small 5-10% chance that it will brick. Bricking is breaking beyond repair. Thats what happened to you. For all you peeps who want to JB, take this as an example. There is a chance that THIS will happen to you. That is what you get for jailbreaking (if you bring it to apple/best-buy, they won't help ya, cause it is jailbroken.)

actually you guys are all wrong, well the brick part is right.. but i had the same problem, but i fix it by myself..all you have to do is search on the apple site it will show you..i wish i can help but its too long to explain..lol..

plug it in to iTunes. Hold down the power button and the home button for about 10 seconds. Release the power button first and then the home button about 6 seconds later. It will work
