Should I buy a Palm TX or an HP iPAQ 111?

I need to decide what PDA to buy. My career and life are too demanding for me to continue to rely on my memory for everything. I think the old pen and paper agenda is only good for glancing at on my desk during work hours. I considered getting a smartphone (Palm Treo, Blackberrry, Blackjack, etc.), but I already have two cell phones (with mp3, cams, streaming tv, navigation, etc.). With the way cell technology advances, the usefulness of the phone would get outdated before the "pda" part of it. I've read reviews and done research extensively for both. The iPAQ is newly released with Windows Mobile 6, while the Palm TX is coming up on its 3rd birthday. Palm doesn't have a user-changeable battery, but the iPAQ is only Windows compatible (no Linux or Mac friendliness). The iPAQ comes with a Windows Office Bundle of everything you need on-the-go, but Palm has more 3rd-party apps available. Can anyone help me decide? The prices are similar. Any good/bad experiences?

I've been trying to figure out the same thing. I had a palm once before and I had nothing but problems with it. After doing a whole lot of research, I decided to go with the HP IPAQ 111. I ordered it yesterday. The Windows mobile 6 is exactly what I was looking for. I was a little nervous to buy one that is so new, because everything hasn't been looked at yet, but from what I have read, there are very minimal problems and everyone seems to love them. Good Luck. My advice, go for the IPAQ:)

Hmm, have you considered a PDA Phone? I really love my AT&T Tilt and then I have everything in one device. Outside of that I would recommend the Windows Mobile HP just because of the world of third-party software available for it, and the office application line.
