What is a good pda or smartphone other then the treo and iPhone?

I believe the Cingular 8525 is superior to both... It's manufactured by HTC, a Taiwanese company Internet browsing speed is much faster and because of the sliding keyboard, typing is more secure and less cramped. For even newer models, visit www.htc.com

I have used a palm device for years, so I have had various treo phones. The 680 is by far the best phone I have ever had for use on the cingular network, and it doesn't even have an external antenna. If your preference is palm, I highly recommend the 680 model, hope this helps.
