I am lookimg to buy either a blackberry bold, curve or pearl. which one is the best blackberry?

They are all good devices. True that the original "pearl" 81xx series is now an older model, as is the first generation "curve" 83xx models, yet both are still quality devices. You may want to consider however, that RIM is currently releasing an entirely new live of BlackBerry models....different ones going out to different carriers. What needs to be considered when purchasing a device with such value are things like, what features are most important to YOU, not anyone else. The pearl is slimmer, and obviously does not have the full qwerty keyboard. However I used that device for over a year and became extremely proficient in the typing on that. The Bold is currently on AT&T and has 3G, which the others do not. I however have not missed this feature much so that has not been a must for me. The new curve 8900, which started out on T-Mobile is a step up from the older 83xx series...has a better camera and battery life than the others. Greater memory, all around nice device. Has GPS and Wi-Fi built in. You can now get the 8900 at AT&T also. The only major difference between the 8900 and the Bold is that the Bold is 3G and the 8900 is not. The Bold has "softer" keys that are closer together, which seems to work better for those that have arthritis. The 8900 has a better camera. If you are one who feels that the "traditional" size of the BalckBerry is too big perhaps the Pearl will suit you just fine. May I suggest the Pearl Flip then, there is a new one that has come out which has 3G built in.. I've owned a Pearl and a Curve, and have used a Bold. Personally, I like the Curve the best. The Pearl was nice, but it was just too small to really feel like a full on smart phone. I used it for a long time though with really no problems whatsoever. The Bold is a very nice phone with a beautiful screen and lots of power, but I just don't like the feel and layout of the keys. I feel like it's the most difficult to type on, and that is a big minus for me. The Curve has been my favorite so far, and is what I'm currently using. The screen is not as nice as the Bold's, but it's still vibrant and clear, the phone is plenty fast, it's much easier to browse the Internet and such than on the Pearl. Personally I would go with the Curve based on my experiences with the three models you mentioned. Try them out for yourself though, that's the only way you'll really know which one you want.

Get the iPhone, has everything a blackberry has to offer but has millions of cool apps you can purchase that really come in handy.
