What is the difference between a micro SD card and a micro SDHC card?
-
The booklet that came with my Blackberry Curve 8520 says that I can use a micro SD card, but I have only been able to find micro SDHC cards. What is the difference between the two, and can I use a micro SDHC card in my Blackberry?
-
Answer:
well, theyre both the same except HC stands for high capacity, so anything over 2gb is called microSDHC, you can get 4 8 16 32 gbs at the moment. typically you are supposed to be able to use them all as they are same. but heaps of devices might not work with bigger size cards(not phsyical size). this can be because of the hardware or software. This link to the blackberry site tell you what software version to update your phone to support the card you wanna buy. http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/search.do?cmd=displayKC&docType=kc&externalId=KB05461
