What do you prefer the Blackberry Curve or the Iphone?
-
I have the Blackberry Curve now in gold, but im thinking of getting the new iphone 3g. It seems so cool and now its less expensive then the other iphone. I love the whole idea of having cases for it, and that it is made by apple. My Blackberry is a life saver though, and it has a full keyboard which is so much easier to text. Unlike the Iphone, the Blackberry is not touch screen! HELP ME please? :)

For me, I prefer BlackBerry devices. What is important to me is having a physical keypad (I don't really like touch screen UIs) and having a user-replaceable battery. The iPhone has neither. Also, I like being able to run more than one application at a time in the background, like an instant messaging client. The iPhone doesn't allow that with the applications they have at this time. If you are using the AOL instant messaging application, if you go to another application it will close down. No good. But that is me. The iPhone is an excellent device and I think it has revolutionized how device makers are going to create future devices. But right now the BlackBerry is a better choice for me.

I had the Blackberry Curve as well in Titanium is a GREAT SUPER PHONE!!! However with the iPhone, you CAN NOT send Multimedia Messages which is pictures and stuff like that.. which is totally dumb, why would they make a phone of the year with NO MULTIMEDIA MESSAGING AGAIN just like the original iPhone, you will also end up paying more for internet and downloads that you would on the Blackberry. Sure they have forums where you can install freeware, but for the most part you have to download an application and pay for it to be able to use the freeware apps.... this is not all of the time you will be to find free stuff and it will work perfectly but if youd like the really cool stuff then you'd have to pay. Another thing is I agree about messaging on it... that would definitely have to suck it is sooo easy to email and message on the BB... I just got a new phone recently with ATT and its unlocked because I have TMO .... I got the HTC TILT its probably the best phone rated with the BB they are equally just as BADA$$. I downloaded the iPhone theme and the app TouchFLo so it works and looks like the iPhone and I still get Multimedia Messaging and it has a slide out keyboard .... It is also touch screen... its probably the phone I've enjoyed most by far just because it's literally like have 2 phones in one!!! So it's basically a win win for me!! Hope this helps!!!!
Yeah Huh
Blackberry Curve from T-Mobile is the BEST by far. It is a UMA phone. Meaning, you can make and receive phone calls using wi-fi. And the best thing about it is you don't burn your minutes using wi-fi. I couple of months ago, I went out of the country (somewhere in Asia) and used my BB Curve (with wi-fi) from there calling here in the U.S. I was never charged any minutes and not even a roaming fee! Isn't that cool????? Can Iphone do that???? If ever you are in a bad cell coverage area, as long as there is a wi-fi, you are good to go!

youll end up paying more for the iphone plus the blackberry has better texting because the iphones touchscreen is not good for texting(itll type the wrong letters) and the blackbgerry just has mroe features and is an all around better phone
