Blackberry Icon Won't Go Away?

An icon appeared on my BlackBerry Torch homescreen three days ago. It's a white envelope with the BB logo and a red dot with a "1" inside. I've never seen the icon before... I have no unread texts, emails, or BB messenger messages. What does this icon mean and how do I make it go away?

Answer:
Only way I know is to check your BBM. If that doesn't work try turning the phone off/on.
