Download Music to PSP?

Can i download music to my psp by directly connecting it to my pc using a USB port cord(or whatever its called

  • Okay I need to know if i can download music and how. I dont have a wi-fi connection set up so i can get on directly from my psp but im wondering if i connect it using a USB cord (like what you use to hook up a digital camera) if i can download music on my psp using limewire? and i need to know how if so? If you have any question please email me [email protected] i really need these answers!!!

    first you need a firewire cable then you will need to go to sonys website and download theyre software(sonic), then you will be able to transfer songs to your psp, but you will need a memory card with enough space too

yeah you can do that, thats how i do mine. but you just need a usb cable and music and your done!

You don't need any type of music software to transfer music/files to your psp. You can just connect the psp, go to my computer, and find the psp. You can drag/drop or copy/paste your files into the music folder. (PSP\MUSIC) if that folder is not there, you can create it. You can transfer the music you downloaded with limewire to the psp, but I'm not sure if you can actually use limewire to transfer it.

Everytime I download music to my PSP I use a USB cord myself. I use this program called musicmatch box to send the music to my psp. U can download the music on limewire, then open the musicmatch box program and under the options, and click on Search and add music from all drives which will take a couple of minutes. Then you can send your music to your PSP. U might have to download a program so your computer will recognize your PSP once you plug it up to the computer. Your computer will probably do this automaticaly seeing as how mine did did. Good luck!!!!!

You can download the songs from your computer then transfer it to your PSP. But first, create a file in your PSP and name it MUSIC. Then drag your songs to the file. Your song format must be in MP3.
