no its free you just need a wireless network to use it just go to the top far left icon in the main psp menu to set up the wireless conection just scan for one and pick one that you use(it will guild you on steps on how to do this). then when you have that set up go to the browser and put in where you want to go then it should automatically start conecting or it will let you choose what conection to use and then you'll start surfing Note not all websites will work espicailly ones that use a lot or memory

You don't have to pay. To use the internet you need to connect to a wifi connection. To do that go to the network settings and then configure a connection using infrastructure mode

you dont have to pay to use the internet. you do, however, have a wireless connection wherever you want to use the internet. it is the same way you use a laptop. you set up a wireless router in your house, and the psp will connect to it. If you dont have a wireless router, it wont work. so, if you have got the internet at your house, with a router, go pick up a wireless router, set it up with your computer, and you can pick up the signal with your psp.
