Blackberry 8100 Pearl - Help needed please?
-
Hi, I upgraded my phone today to the Blackberry 8100 and I want to sync it with my hotmail account. It's on Vodafone and it says "data connection refused". How long will it say this for? I can't set up emai until it let's me connect. I'm all round confused by this phone so if there are any UK based forums, please could somebody tell me what they are? Many thanks, Tom

Answer:
I am in the U.S., but I can help you. What "Data Connection Refused" means is that you don't have the BlackBerry internet add-on added to your plan. Contact your cell company to have a data plan added.

Do you mean you can't get your e-mail from hotmail pushed to your phone? That's because it doesn't work with hotmail.. I also have the pearl, or as the other guy said you haven't activated your account, but it still doesn't work with hotmail unless you pay and have hotmail +
