Why won't my blackberry torch let me download Blackberry Appworld?

I got my sisters Blackberry torch 9800 tonight and Its an unlocked phone, she was on Tesco mobile and didn't use the Blackberry services once. I've gone from using a Blackberry Curve to using the torch so the Sim I'm currently using is on O2 and has a Blackberry data plan currently active. Yet my phone won't let me download blackberry appworld? It just says 'download failed' I don't have a usb lead so I can't sync it through my laptop. What do I do?

Most likely that you just need to reinstall the service books. The service books on your Blackberry are not those that your carrier is using so if you use a sim card from some carrier be sure to reinstall the service books on your Blackberry first. you can contact your carrier and ask them to push it to your phone.
