Is there an app for iPhone 4 that can change the color of the text bubbles?

I have had apps that generate an image before to send text messages in a different colored bubble, but I am not looking to send an image to my friends just so that my texts can look attractive. What I am looking for is an app that just changes the colors of the text bubbles on my end, but leaves the message as a text, not an image. There is some variation when sending a text message to another iPhone user, as the bubbles turn blue rather then green. I just want an app that changes the bubbles. Is there one? Possibly a free version?
