What does the blinking blue light on the Blackberry Storm mean?

LED light in the corner of my blackberry 8530 was solid for an hour or so, what does this mean?

• I wasn't doing anything different than I have been. I received an email, checked it, and instead of the blinking light going off, it just stayed solid. This went on for about an hour or so. I revived another email later, and the light was blinking then went off when I checked the email. Im new at the whole blackberry thing, I have had it for about a month, and its my first blackberry! Can someone please explain this to me. Thanks :)

  Blackberrys are the best :p iphones are only good for their apps that's it If ur bb does that again, do a battery pull, its probably just a tiny glitch, don't worry it happens :) hope this helped
