Blackjack II or Palm Centro?

Palm Centro help, please! (Not reviews, HELP)?

• OK so this is how it goes. I have a Palm Centro Smartphone. I have treated these phones (yes, I have had more than one; the first broke). The second is only about a month or so old (it is a replacement...) and these are the symptoms: ***While I was watching the Bama-Clemson game last night, I sent a text and turned off the screen. Well then, I saw it light up and thought "Wow that was a fast reply" and looked at it and it was saying "Connecting to Cradle/Cable"; trying to perform a HotSync; when it WAS NOT attached to my computer. So I clicked cancel. And it did it again. And again. And again. I decided to perform a soft reset and possibly a hard reset. I would have done a hard reset, but the entire device is bad now. The screen will not come on. I have probably performed 30+ soft resets and have tried HotSync-ing it to my computer. I don't really need a cure; I'm getting it replaced. Again. Ugh. But I do want to know if this has happened to anyone else and how they fixed it. Oh and I want to know if AT&T will might let me get a Vu or Blackjack II instead since I have had ALOT of trouble with Centro's.
