Blackberry curve 8520 browser problems?

well. i gone to almost all the answers for this question on yahoo answerss but stillhaven'tt found the right one. so i m gonna ask again. i have a blackberry 8520 and its connected to the wifi in my house. now the weird thing is that all my apps which require wifi are working perfectly fine but my browser (internet/hotspot) are not working. the last time this happened i contacted my service provider(vodafone) and they said theycouldn'tt help me. also im not a gadget freak so if your gonna answer this questionyou lll have to answer it with very specific steps. thanksx..
