Blackberry Bold 9700 vs iPhone 3GS?

• I am wondering which phone to pick, i want opinions from owners of these phones, but as well people that have tried both phones. i want the features and faults of the phones. the reason i want to know is that my blackberry curve is really beaten up and i really want to get a new phone, but i am torn as to which device would be a better overall device. i like the touch screen keyboard but i also like a physical keyboard. please tell me your opinion and why the phone of your choosing would be a good overall device.

  It depends what you value. Despite what all the apple fanboys want to say the keyboard on the blackberry is infinetely better than the iphone. My girlfriend has an iphone and I use it all the time. I'll break down the pros of each. Bold: -Better keyboard. Iphone needs to use predictive text because usign the touch keyboard is not accurate. Since my gf got the iphone the number of txt messages that make no sesne have gone way up cause of the text prediction -Much better email client. You receive push emails from any of your accounts just like its a text message. You can set up gmial, hotmail etc to go to ur phoen and u get notified the same way you would a text. Far superior to what you get on iphone -bbmessenger. I personally don't use it but its a feture that a tonne of ppl love the blackberry for. -Most of the popular apps. Despite what the apple fanboys want you to believe bb has many of the same popular apps as iphone. Shazam, urbanspoon, podcast apps, facebook, foursquare, poynt etc are all available for the blackberry -you can actually make a call on a blackberry where the iphone is known for poor call quality -multiple apps can run at once on blackberry where u can only run one app at a time on the iphone. -camera is superior iPhone -bigger screen. Helps in watching movies, lookign at pictures etc. -browser is far better to use. The touch screen makes it far easier to navigate -itunes. Although the media function on the blackberry is usable, its not nearly as seemless as itunes -apps. Yes the most popular ones are available on blackberry but the sheer volume is on iphone. Most often the good ones come out first on iphone. -street view on google maps. So baisically it depends what you do. If you want a great multimedia phone with usable text entry then go iphone. If you do a tonne of texting, want to run multiple apps, or have an actual usable email system then go blackberry
