What is the latest software version for the Blackberry Curve 8520?

Blackberry Curve 8520 software update?

Me and my girlfriend both have a blackberry curve 8520 about a month old. When I had my blackberry and activated it for the internet I put it on my pc about 3 days later and told me to update to software v.5.0 when I put my girlfriends blackberry on the computer it says its on software v.4.6 and no update available. How do I get her blackberry Curve 8520 on software V.50 and why won't it offer the update? Thanks in advance

You have the same model but do you have the same wireless provider? Some providers have not made OS v5.0 available yet. If you do have the same provider you can install install it via Desktop Manager Download OS v5.0 from your provider's webstie to your computer Double click the file to install it on your computer Plug her phone into your computer Open Desktop Manager 6.0 Click Device - Update my device Check the box next to OS 5.0 Click install
