Do the Verizon Blackberry Data Plans include text/pix messaging?

I want a VERIZON Blackberry Curve with the $29.99 data plan. I have a link that i believe states that it includes text/picture messaging in the $29.99 data plan? http://b2b.vzw.com/productsservices/wirelessemail/voicedatacallingplans.html Is this true and can anyone clarify it for me?
