Why can't I open Exe files?

Why cant I open exe. files on my mobile phone?

  • I have the T-mobile mda, and pretty much, most of the downloads are exe. files. Before I download whatever program, it says my phone is compatible with the program. When I try opening the file, it says "not a valid PPC program"... am i doing something wrong?

maybe your type of phone doesn't support opening that kind of file...idk...your phone might be screwed up...or the downloads are crappy.

An exe is an executable and requires the right OS to install. Call Tmobile tech support.

Usually when it says "not a valid PPC program", the software isn't supported by your operating system or you have downloaded the Windows Mobile Smartphone Edition. The Windows Mobile Smartphone Edition still runs on WM, but just a different OS from the PPC Edition.
