Do you need a Pandora Battery to downgrade a PSP?

• I have a whole lot of questions for pandora's battery. First of all, why is it (on ebay) that some people claim that this battery will downgrade your psp, while others claim that it can downgrade and unbrick psp? 1) Correct me if I'm wrong, All pandora's batteries downgrade psp, but NOT all pandora's batteries unbrick psp. 2) What all do I need to create an unbricking psp that I don't need to create a battery that only downgrades. I have a 512MB PRO DUO My PSP is firmware version 3.52 M33-4 Why is it that some people claim that this is for fat/slim while other people claim that it can be used for both? 1) Is the battery for the slim and fat the same? 2) I have a fat psp, so if I want to downgrade a slim one, do I have to create a pandora's battery using the slim battery in my fat psp in order to downgrade a slim psp? and vise virsus (idk if i spelled that right.) Is it possible for me to use a fat psp battery in my slim psp, if the slim psp was the downgraded one

  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=INZGW9IJ5D4 That link is all you need to create a pandora battery it is a great video (3 parts) and explains everything simply All of them can unbrick any psp, all it does is it boots of the memory card and just puts the firmware that is on the mstick onto the psp. Whichever is it all the same. Second you need a fat psp for that tutorial. But i think you can then pop the battery and memory card into the silm psp and it should downgrade/unbrick it. You can not use the silm psp battery because only the fat psp batterys have a chip inside of them that we can manipulate. If you have any more questions on this just email me.
