What are the best offline ipod touch apps?

Apple ipod Touch - Syncing apps?

• I have downloaded a lot of apps in itunes.. it's almost 20GB in size & taking up a big chunk of my drive space..!! The 'sync apps' option is currently ticked in itunes so everytime I connect the ipod, the apps sync automatically. Whereas, this option is not selected for my music & movies, so i can manage it on my own. Once I copy the music files to the ipod I can remove it from my system, so these files don't add to disk space occupied. Is there a way for me to do the same with the apps? I want to be able to download apps, transfer to ipod & them be able to delete them from itunes. I know I can do that by unticking 'sync apps'. But, when I do that it says "all existing apps and their data will be removed".... which I obviously don't want..!!!! Because I have entered a lot of information in few of these apps. When I instead delete the app from itunes itself, the app disappears from the ipod too..!! So, how do I remove all the apps from itunes without altering the apps on my ipod??   not possible. best you can do is prevent it from syncing automatically. Edit-> preference -> device
