Why is my blackberry deleting all my messages and recent calls?

Why does my blackberry automatically delete text messages, missed calls, and sent messages?

  • i have a blackberry 8310 and I cannot get the outbox to keep more than one message for more than like 2 minutes. Also, if my inbox is full and someone tries to text me, there is a message saying, INBOX FULL DELETE TEXTS, but when i do clear up my inbox there is no way to recieve the text i missed. also do you all have problems with bbm too? my bbm wont show me new messages until i delete the entire previous convo, its ridiculous. any help would be much appreciated. thanks in advance!

    You need to free up memory on your device. If you go to Options > Status, check the File Free parameter. You probably have a low amount (something less than 15000000 bytes). If you do you need to free up memory. The quickest way to do this is via a hard reset. Pull the battery out of the device (while the device is still on) for about 30 seconds, then reinsert.
