How to set my PSP wifi?

• i want to know how to set my PSP wifi? is it true that i can go online within Wifi area? then i can use my google, skype and so on? i want to try to bring my PSP to a mall with lot's of wifi .. but i ever tried with my laptop... my laptop can detect those wifi.. so can PSP do that too?

  Yes You Should Be Able To Access any wifi connection only if it does not have security on the signal. If You got a laptop why are you using you psp. PSP is a lot slower and it can only detect so far. the signal has to be 20% or higher to get on the INTERNET. turn on your WIFI Switch with is on the left side (FAT PSP) On Top (PSP 2000).find network settings, click on in. then click on to infrastructure mode. then go to new connection. put the name you want it be such as (home) (Office) (School), after putting the name . go to scan, after it has scanned go to your internet connection which is going to be the highest signal strength, make sure the connection you picked does not have security, if it does you will need the password. when wlan security setting comes up go to "none" if your scan says it does not have security. now a address settings screen should come up select "easy". confirm the settings with the x Button. then save. test the connection and see if it is going to work. now your done with the setup. on your psp go to internet browser. it should connect, if it comes up asking for which connection to use select the one you made earlier... if this doesnt work click on this link below http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YRPI476x8...
