Blackberry pearl(bluetooth)?

hello i just got the new blackberry pearl phone from tmobile and i want to transfer all my ringtones and wallpapers from my old phone to it but my old phone keeps saying it cant find it and i dont know how to put the phone in discoverable mode would anyone who has it please tell me how thanks!!

Some phones will only transfer certain things using bluetooth such as contacts, reminders, calendar, etc. If it can be discovered by the device... I have one of the first LG phones with bluetooth, it will not show up on any of my PPC/PDA phones. It did have IR (infra-red) or "beam" so I used that to get the contacts, calendar, etc... It would not transfer ring tones, notes, etc using IR (beam).
