Putting music on my blackberry pearl 8110?

  • alright. i just got a blackberry pearl 8110 and i dont know how to put music on it. i uploaded the disc it came with and everything and it doesnt say anything about music. i tried going into limewire and dragging and dropping the music like i do with my mp3 player. the only problem is theres no where for me to drop it. a little pop up does come up and say "device recognized" but then when i go to put the music on the device is not where it should be. how do i put music on my blackberry pearl 8110? if you dont know how can you give me a website where i can find out? please and thanks.

  • Answer:

first, you need to have a music/memory card. if you dont have one your phone doesnt have enough memory to hold a decent playlist.these can be found at and Wireless store, online, or perhapes at general stores.the number of MegaBites or memory the card has differs.if you have quite a library of songs you would of course need a bigger MB memory card. if you do then you want to use a music search engine. like -LimeWire(prefered) -iTunes -Morphise -Ect. download a playlist of songs kept in the engines library. when done, put the songs in a folder in your "My Music" Documents.to do this you simply highlight the whole list of songs that have sucessfully downloaded that are stored in your library.drag them into your music folder. You would then like to plug in your phone to your PC/MAC using the USB/CONNECTER CABEL that came with your phone.(also found in the store listed above)and AUTO PLAY box should automaticly pop up.Here you would select the action you would like to preform. It would be "Play using Windows Media Player. This will work even if Windows Media isnt a program on your computer.(the first choice)If AUTO PLAY does'nt pop up you would manually go into the start menu and select "My Computer" and select the Removable Disk Space being occupied. here Windows should pop up when selected. If the Lilbrary isnt allready selected and in your Windows Library, you simply click "ADD TO LIBRARY" at the bottom of your media player. the drap and drop menu shall appear.then select ADD FOLDER.then select the folder you added your music to.when that appears in your library, make sure SYNC is selected on the top bookmark of your player .on the RIGHT should be your connected device "BlackBerry"and two thumbnails-Playlist and BlackBerry. and on the LEFT there is a stop the says"Drag items here to create a play list to sync."SELECT the songs of your choice on the playlist.make sure on the top of that side the drag and drop menu is set for ALL MUSIC. when compleated on the top left corner. click the button START SYNC and your songs should began.but not a garentee all of them will fit. hope this isnt to hard to understand.im 12 but my information is accuratte, but my vocabulary may not be. if you have any problems understanding please email me.and i could make a step by step vidio. hope this helps.
