What I need to know about Treo 650?

What do you think of the Palm Treo 650?

• i need a new phone and also want to get a pda, so i'll probably get the two combined. i was particularly interested in the Palm Treo 650. im not very experienced with palm but it looks easy to use and is very colorful. i prefer a unit that runs windows mobile. if anyone has had any experience with this unit or similar devices, please share your experience. i want to know things like pros and cons, style, etc. i only need something to use for a phone, basic games, contacts, and basic email capabilities.

  The Treo 650 is a very easy-to-use and useful PDA. The only con I can think of is that it does freeze up sometimes, like a computer, but almost any PDA will do that occasionally. Also, you mentioned that you prefer windows mobile, and windows is not something you can have on the Treo 650, since it is Palm-based. A newer Palm device that works on Cingular IS windows-based...the Treo 750. It is also easy to use and comes in a recognizable windows format. It's probably more expensive, though, since it is a good deal newer. If I were you, I'd go ahead and spring for the 750, since it's newer technology. less likely to become outdated while you're using it...when that happens sometimes you can't get your phone replaced or repaired, and windows-based. Treos are all good, reliable phones and data devices, in my experince.
