How do i set a password on Blackberry Curve so you cant see messages?

How do i put a password so you can not access messages without a password. I have the blackberry curve.

Answer:
There isn't a way to password protect only certain portions of the phone. What you can do is set up a password on the device, while still allowing calls to be made. However, when locked, your WHOLE device is locked other than the phone module. To do this you will go to Options > Security Options > General Settings. Set the Password options to Enable. Also, set the Allow Outgoing Calls While Locked option to Yes. After saving the changes you will be prompted to enter your password. After entering that you should be set. So when your device is locked you can still place/receive calls, however no one can get in to your device until the password is entered.
