How do i update my sidekick lx?

Does the sidekick lx ota update start on the 15th of july? I really need HELP!!!?

• I've talked to several sidekick support workers about the update, and I get a bunch of different answers! The last one that I talked to said that it doesn't start until the 15th of july and there will be a red X over the 7 at the top of the phone when it starts. most people said that it already started! What I really want to know is when does it really come out, and I want lots of details. Anything you know! Someone PLEAZZZ HELP MEE! I really can't wait anymore!

  It doesn't come out for any person on a specific day, it has gone out to some people already (randomly) and it will go on for weeks until everyone's got it. There's no way to get it sooner. (unfortunately. I'm waiting impatiently myself.) When you get an OTA update you generally get a message saying "your device is ready for a system update, you can install and restart now or later."
