I downloaded the desktop manager, and i've been trying to sync music into my blackberry, but it keeps saying my phone doesn't have enough memory or something. And i already put a 1GB card in my phone. is my phone not reading my memory card? btw i just bought my phone today so I don't have ANY music or anything on it. please help!

Answer:
First open up the battery case and make sure that the card has been inserted properly. A battery pull can never hurt. Also, to verify that the card has been inserted properly go to Start > My Computer > from here see if the removable hardware (SD Card) shows up - If it does not then the computer has not detected the hardware - you might then need to do a driver update to get your PC to read the hardware. Before you start getting worried. Open your Blackberry Desktop Manager > Go to your Media Manager > Drag or Copy/Paste the media files from your computer into the Roxio Media Manager Interface. Make sure that when you are copying music that you are copying it into the SD Media Card and not the Blackberry Memory otherwise you may get that message. Also, dont try to copy more than one file at a time especially initially. If that still fails then if your computer has found the SD card (My Computer) then just drag the music files directly into the media card folder from there. When you go to your handheld you should be able to access the music file by going to the main screen > Media > Music > All Songs. Even though you have not gone through the desktop manager you should still be able to access your media. Dont quote me on that last option as I have not tried it. Good luck. I also use a Blackberry but have the 8800 series and absolutely love it. Dont change it. Just figure out this issue. Regards, Max. A

I agree with Max A. Check to see if the media card is being recognized. The Roxio media manager comes the desktop manager with the 8330 for sprint. You might want to see what if you phone provider has something like this - this will allow you to deal with the media in a drag and drop type of situation - where it ask you to optimize for the device by making the media size smaller for the device. Try this and see if it works. However, first make sure the 1 GB is being recognized by the phone - if not check to make sure you put it in right and it is all the way in.
