How good is the iPod Touch 4g for gaming?

IPod touch 4, iPad or iPhone 4G?

  • Ok this is a long question(sorry about that).. And a big one, for me. :) So my dad has agreed to buy me a laptop, say somewhere like a Sony Vaio E series that costs around 55k,here, in India. But then I think that I've got 3 desktops already at my home and I'll be here to use it. So better to buy something else, that I like better and would be more useful. And my eyes quickly turned to that small picture of iPod touch in Google Images. And now, am confused whether to go for an iPod touch 4, or iPad, or iPhone 4G. iPod touch costs like 18k here, iPad like 35-40k and iPhone's in the 45-50 range. Prices are still within my range, but what I don't know is which one of these is most worthy of its price. And the bigger problems like no camera in iPad, lesser wifi connectivity here and lesser people with iPod touch to use Facetime with, and well for iPhone am not THAT comfortable carrying a 50k thing in my pocket wherever I go. But I so love iPhone... Now putting all the attractions and rest of the stuff behind, the major factor in choosing one of these is that once I buy an iPod touch or iPad or iPhone, I cant ask my dad for anything expensive for like 3-4 years. I feel it's not right to do so. So, friends, help me here? I need something thats doesn't self-destruct itself (like my stupid old mobile :D ), and is below the 55k range. Things I like most in each is -- iPod touch - Cheaper. iPad - Bigger screen, meaning better movietime, gaming time all the other eh times... :) iPhone - Has got almost everything I need. Atleast much more than the other two. Well, except for the big screen. Things that keep me in doubt : iPod touch - Only wifi, meaning am gonna have to take my slow internet connection for use of its many great features. Also, not many friends with whom I can use Facetime with. iPad : No camera. But maybe I can use my mobile for that but still it's something I look into with bright eyes. iPhone : Well as I said before, too expensive to carry around comfortably. But still its not THAT much of a problem. So there you go. Now suggestions'opinions/advices please ? And if there are other useful or better electronics like these, in my price range, could you point them out too ? Sorry, this question is a bit long, then again the matter is too. Thank you. :)

    iPhone 4 iPad is not worth it for the drawbacks it has (no camera, only 1Ghz, no Retina display etc) iPod Touch - getting old. Was once considered to be a cool rare iPod, now they're a dime a dozen. You only see 10 year olds walking around with playing games now. iPhone 4 - the best! Retina display, 1Ghz A4 Chip, 512MB RAM, HD Recording. It does everything the iPod Touch can do, and better. It even has several features the Touch dpesn't have. And don't even tell me about the iPad. The iPhone 4 has well over twice the features and performance of iPad. The OnLY advantage the iPad has over iPhone is the screen viewing size. iPad is more fit for readers, and is set to compete with: Amazon Kindle, Nook, Sony reader etc.

Iphone screen has a really high resolution so the size doesn't matter . And I say get something else because either one will be outdated by next year .

Get the iPhone 4. It has a much sharper screen so you won't mind using it over an iPad. If you are concerned for the safety of the device, I'd like to suggest 2 things: 1) Get a screen cover or vinyl skin. I'd suggest using musicskin.com or Gelaskin.com they protect your phone from scratches and make it look very fashionable. 2) Get a bumper case. If you use this with the first suggestion, there won't be any need to get a full case. You can either get a free one, up til 9/30 I believe. Or you can buy a nicer one.

best dont go for any apple products they lose their shine in an year at most and suck by the 2nd year.if u wanto-go for ipod touch and get yourself 40k 1.)get a laptop or 2.)2 MONSTER graphics cards-15k each -30k and remaining get urself some nice games. 3.)or if u like apple so much wait till november for a new ipad launch and get that.i have a feeling apples gonna blow up both iphone and ipod with the ipads specs. 4.)or get urself a ps3. 5.)but believe me if ur not getting anything else for 3-4 yrs-dont take APPLE!!! 6.)if nothing comes into ur head donate it to pakistan flood charity 7.)convert the cash into 100 buck changes,lock urself in a room and cry for hours and use the notes as tissue paper
