How long would 500MB of internet last on a mobile phone?

Blackberry BBM/Internet UK?! helpp?

  • Hi, So i currently have a HTC phone on a virgin media contract for 3 years which gives you 100 mins, 500MB of internet and 300 texts for £7 a month. However my HTC hasent been peforming well, i have sent it into repair twice but nothing seems to work! So i was thinking of purchasing a blackberry 9300 or curve 8520, because the contract is for 3 years and i havent had the HTC for that long yet would i be able to insert my virgin media sim into the blackberry and use the internet, texts and calls well? however i would also like acsess to blackberry messenger & because i dont have a blackberry data plan will virgin media give me this blackberry data plan and be able to use bbm? if so how much will that cost or will virgin media give that blackberry internet for free whilst im regestering the phone? sorry its so long thanks in advance 5 points for best answer :D

  • Answer:

yes you can just put your sim into a blackberry, and you will have all your txts/mins/internet they will all work fine, and then you call your network and they will add the blackberry data plan which is £5 a month so you can use bbm, apps world and all other blackberry services. if you buy a blackberry from the carphone warehouse it should be unlocked to use on any network. most of their phones are. do call your network and check with them first about switching to blackberry, but all should be fine. PS go for the 9300, it has 3g and is a far better phone than the 8520.
