Is the product "Magic Jack" legitimate?

I was thinking about getting a Magic Jack Phone System, any thoughts about this product?

    I've used it for more than a year. IMHO it's great value..You can't beat free long distance anywhere in Canada or the U. S , It's a real money saver and works very well. The only time in my experience it isn't really good and you get interference is if you are burning a DVD or cd.Several friends and relatives have also bought it and we are all extremely satisfied.I still turn my computer off at night but calls are still answered and I receive the messages from the server the next time I boot up.

as long as your willing to leave your computer on 24/7 its a good way to save money, although if you still want to save money but are still willing to pay a bit go with a provider like vonage or another home voip company. They'll be like $30 a month, you don't need a computer (but you do still need high speed internet) and you'll get a whole slew of features and services included that don't come with magicjack.

Magic Jack..which I tried, was a poor investment, poor service, cut-offs, echoes, in my opinion, junk!!
