How to check the phone number of someone that called?

• okey well i have no caller id and then this person called our house phone saying "mofo next time i call pick up ur god damn phone, im sick and tired of this bull crap, i want my ******* money" and then i was scared, and my mom was all like don't put mind to that maybe its ur father who needs to pay some bill, and then my mom said that it may be a creidt card company cuz my dad hasn't payed them, and my mom said they call everyday, everymoring so it might be them, but then my mom made a good point that my father doesn't know english sooo how is he going to borrow money from someone who speaks english, and he only borrows money from spanish people. so that phone call got me a little PARANOID and i would like to know who called, because if it was some credit card okey ill call the company and report them or something but if it not well we will change our phone number, my mother said so i would like to know how wer figure out who just called because we have no caller id, it just said on the screen incoming call, so is there like a website or something??? and the phone company we have is verizon if that helps thank you and plz answer

  you said like 6 times that you don't have caller id... but then you said that on the screen it just said "incoming call" so i am going to assume here for a minute that you mean what you said, and do not have caller ID service active on the line... you can call *69 to find out the number of the last incoming caller... there is either a per-use charge, or you are billed monthly for this service... now, if you DO have caller id service, and the call came in as private, unknown caller, or something along those lines, you will not be able to tell who it was that just called you... also, *69 will not work if they have there number blocked...
