Will a phone number show up on a landline bill?

AT&T landline phone bill? PLEASE ANSWER.?

  • Okay, I know if you have AT&T phone service on your landline, and if someone calls you long-distance then it shows up on the phone bill. What if that person calls you from unknown? (*67) Will the number still show up on the bill? please answer!!!

  • Answer:

no, you do not receive an itemized bill for incoming calls, regardless if they are local or long distance, you do not pay for incoming calls, so the telephone company does not waste there time recording the numbers for incoming calls... private callers are private callers... there is no way to unmask the identity of a private caller, unless they called you collect or if they are calling you on your 800 number if you have one... because you would be paying for the call... you can block private callers by dialing *77 you can initiate a call trace if the call is harassing or threatening by dialing *57 after they call, but before you get another call...

I do not see a listing of INCOMING long distance calls on my landline. Only OUTGOING long distance....?? (I recently discontinued AT&T long distance, as they were charging me around $4.00 a month whether I used long distance or not.!!!) Cheaper to use a calling card with 3 to 4 cents a minute long distance. (And yes, you can still receive long distance incoming calls.)
