How can I check my answering machine?

Is there a landline phone that has an internet LAN port so that I can check my answering machine mgs online?

• I am looking for a new landline phone and it would be super useful to be able to check my answering machine messages (voice mail) from the internet. My work has VOIP phones that email me my phone messages when they are received and I wish I can find something somewhat similar for my landline. I would also need to get a 2 line system and hopefully the phone would be a DECT 6.0 phone so that it doesn't screw up my wireless router. Bluetooth connectivity for cell phone would be icing on the cake. Thank you.

  Not that I have seen. Just get a VoIP phone service at home. (Keep your PSTN landline , or cell, for 911 backup if you like.) VoiceMail-to-Email notification and attachment is a standard feature of most VoIP services that provide home phone service. Pay-as-you-go home phone VoIP services like CallCentric,InPhonex, Les.net, Voip.ms, etc. all provide free Voicemail service with Email notification as standard basic features. I use both CallCentric and InPhonex as home phone VoiP services. I have both accounts to send email notifications to me and my wifes email addresses when ever we get voice messages on our VoIP lines. The emails even attach the voice mail as an attachement and I can listen to the messages right on my computer. It is a very, very handy feature. I use my own self-configured Linksys PAP2T-NA 2-Line ATA behind Linksys WRT-54G router. (or use Linksys SPA-2102-NA with built-in Router). I configure ATA Line-1 for CallCentric and ATA Line-2 for InPhonex. On the ATA Line-1, I also use the Plantronics Calisto DECT 6.0 wireless phone + bluetooth wireless headset for handsfree calling. On the ATA Line-2, I have a Panasonice DECT 6.0 cordless phone. So, I have no problems with WiFi RFI issues.
