Our Comcast internet phone service fails after we use Skype, at least temporarily. How can we fix this?

We have reset the modem from the end of Comcast and I have manually done it too. What can anyone suggest I do? I am in chat mode with Comcast as I type this and they do not seem to want to figure out what is going on.
