Why my collect calls are restricted /denied?
-
both my correctional & landline phone services say there is no block on my phone so why cant i receive calls from prison

Answer:
If I remember right, you're in Cali? Try contacting MCI directly 1-800-231-0193 or on the web at https://corrections.mci.com/login.aspx They put a block on my line by default prior to my first call from a prison, and then replaced that block when there was a 6 month gap between calls (He was in AdSeg, no phone privileges)... it's enough to drive a person crazy!

either someone is lying or you only have local service check with your long distance carrier

Why would you want to? You can test this by having someone outside of prison call you collect. If that works, then the person is lying to you.
